ABOUT NIRVA
Nirva is building the first AI fashion accessory for your mind — a necklace or bracelet that privately listens only to the wearer to enable proactive journaling, emotion tracking, and life coaching. Think Oura Ring for your Mind.
Backed by Lightspeed and South Park Commons, recognized at CES within 90 days of founding, and launching in the U.S. this fall. Co-founders bring backgrounds from Meta Reality Labs (Quest, Ray-Ban glasses) and 7+ years in the fashion industry. We're building a movement toward conscious, mindful living — and we need our first marketing leader to help define and own that story.
THE ROLE
As our Marketing Intern, you'll be the connective tissue between Nirva and the people who use it. You'll run our social channels, seed and nurture our earliest community, and help stand up the programs that turn curious onlookers into loyal users. You'll work directly with the founding team, move fast, and own real surface area from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Social media & channel operations — plan, create, and ship content across our channels, and keep them alive and growing.
Early community building — help start, grow, and engage our earliest community; show up where our users are.
Partnerships — reach out to and coordinate with potential partners, creators, and collaborators.
Beta tester program — run our beta program end to end: recruiting testers, keeping them engaged, and channeling their feedback back to the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A self-starter who thrives with ownership and little process.
Strong instincts for social, storytelling, and online community — you understand what makes people care and share.
Excellent communication skills and comfort reaching out to strangers, partners, and users.
Genuine excitement about consumer hardware, AI, and building something from zero.
Based in San Francisco and able to work in person.
COMPENSATION
Compensation — depending on experience; happy to discuss.
Commitment — part-time, in person in San Francisco; flexible around your schedule.
Duration — internship, with a possible path to full-time.
Start — ASAP / rolling.
Perks — meal coverage, plus a front-row seat at a fast-moving, well-backed startup and real ownership of work that ships.
TO APPLY
Send a short note on why this role fits you, plus anything you've made — a social account you've grown, a community you've built, content you're proud of — to info@nirva.life. Links beat résumés.
