ABOUT NIRVA
Nirva is building the first AI fashion accessory for your mind — a necklace or bracelet that privately listens only to the wearer to enable proactive journaling, emotion tracking, and life coaching. Think Oura Ring for your Mind.
Backed by Lightspeed and South Park Commons, recognized at CES within 90 days of founding, and launching in the U.S. this fall. Co-founders bring backgrounds from Meta Reality Labs (Quest, Ray-Ban glasses) and fashion industry.
THE ROLE
Creator marketing is Nirva's most important channel, and it isn't close. We're not selling software you can demo in thirty seconds. We're selling something people wear every day, and a different way of paying attention to their own life. Nobody buys that from an ad. They buy it because someone whose taste they trust was wearing it. You'll own that entirely, in house. No agency layer. You'll build the creator playbook from scratch, decide who wears Nirva, run our own channels to the same standard, and turn our first few hundred wearers into a community with real gravity. Close collaboration with the founders, real creative latitude, and a category that doesn't yet exist. This is the right role if you've built a creator program from nothing, you know the people who set taste in fashion, beauty, wellness, or design, and you'd rather build something durable than run activations.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Own the creator strategy end to end: define our tiers, categories, target audiences, platform priorities, and what each activation is actually for. Seeding, paid, long term partnerships, and the boundaries between them.
Build the full playbook: sourcing criteria, outreach cadence, contract and usage rights frameworks, briefs, approval flow, and the difference between an always on relationship and a campaign moment.
Recruit and hold a creator roster: identify, vet, and cultivate ongoing relationships across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube from nano to top tier. You decide who wears Nirva, and you're accountable for the fact that a wrong pick costs us more than a missed one.
Run owned social yourself: you set the cadence, make the work, and post it. You shoot, you edit, you write the caption. You'll have creative direction to work within, not a team to delegate to.
Build the community: our earliest wearers are unusually thoughtful people. Give them a place to talk to each other, reasons to keep showing up, moments in real life, and a path for the best of them to become the voices who bring in the next thousand.
Guard a story that's easy to get wrong: Nirva sits close to people's private lives. Briefed carelessly, the story becomes surveillance instead of self knowledge. You'll own what we say, what we don't, and how creators put it in their own words without losing the plot.
Handle the discourse when it turns: a new category invites skepticism, and some of it will be loud. You'll spot a bad take before it goes live, and stay calm and strategic when one gets through.
Cross functional coordination: work with founders, creative, product, PR, and legal to move fast without breaking the brand or the privacy commitments underneath it.
Close the loop: what creators struggle to explain, what the community actually loves, which framing makes someone say "I want that." Bring it back. It will change the product and the pitch.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of influencer or creator marketing at a consumer brand people had feelings about, with a clear record of programs that moved the business, not just impressions.
Existing relationships with creators and community voices in fashion, beauty, wellness, design, or consumer tech.
Deep platform fluency across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You know what works organically on each, and how creator content differs from brand content.
You've run a seeding program yourself, not managed an agency that ran one. The DMs, the shipping, the awkward follow up, the negotiation.
Strong negotiation instincts: you've structured everything from gifting to paid campaigns, and you know how to protect the brand while leaving creators real room.
Elite creative judgment. You can write a brief that a good creator is glad to receive, and you know when to let someone go off script.
You make things. Comfortable on camera and in an editor. At our stage, someone who can only brief and approve is half a hire.
Community operator, not broadcaster. You've built or run a group where people talked to each other, not just to the brand.
AI native, with hands on experience using agentic tools to scale your own workflow.
Comfort in ambiguity. You don't need a deck to start a relationship or launch a moment.
Based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Bonus Qualifications
Short form video production background, or a history working with video first creators.
A meaningful following of your own.
You've launched a physical product, with real ship dates, inventory, and the constraints that come with them.
You already journal, reflect, or otherwise pay close attention to your own life. Our best marketing will come from someone who is genuinely the user.
COMPENSATION
$135K–$165K cash, plus meaningful early-employee equity.
Top-tier health, dental, and vision insurance.
Unlimited PTO.
Gym membership.
Meal coverage.
